Products I've developed software for:
Here I've posted information on some of the products that I have developed the software for.
BlackBerry aka Rim.
Blackberry Z30, Leap, Classic, and Z3 smartphones:
I worked on the O/S software for these recent BB10 smartphones. My responsibilities included current drain optimization testing, USB and HDMI interface testing, pre-release software sanity testing, initial on-site factory software support, and software configuration management. I also participated in Alpha and Beta software evaluation prior to customer release of these products.
Isaac Daniels Group, Isis Intelligence, LLC division:
First responder tracking system: This is a ISM band network using a pseudo-mesh multi-tier repeater topology that provides GPS tracking of a group of personal with reporting on a portable tablet PC system. Each member of the team wears an armband that contains a battery operated GPS tracker that can operate up to 24 hours on a single charge. Each unit contains a 'panic' button for signalling back to the master base in case of emergency. Each unit functions as both a GPS tracker and a repeater for other tracking units allowing a large circle of operation. The RF network operates in the 900mhz ISM band. The system is intended for military, civil defence, homeland security, fire and police use. A similar system that uses fixed location repeaters with different application software on the main unit PC is available for management of private security systems personal on corporate settings.
The Niles Audio ICS system is a multi-zone, whole house audio system. It is a high end product that allows the consumer to have music from several different sources playing in each room of the house. Each zone has its own speakers and control keypad. There are even wireless remote control options.
The Niles Audio IC2 is a home theater remote control system that replaces all of the system's IR remote control units with a single intelligent control system. A single easy to use big button wireless remote control handles the largest home theater system easily.
For more information about Niles Audio see their web site,
I've data sheets for some of the Niles' products that use software I have developed.
Beckman Coulter is a world leader in biomedical testing. I helped develop their medium hematology instrument line consisting of their Hmx and LH500 instruments. For more information about Beckman-Coulter see their website. I've posted some literature on their Hmx and LH500 instruments here.
